Brakes are the single biggest reason for an MOT advisory and the most common emergency call-out we get. Squealing pads, judder through the wheel, a soft pedal, a vehicle pulling under braking - all of it can be diagnosed and usually fixed on a driveway in one visit.
Suspension goes the same way. Knocks over speed bumps, uneven tyre wear, tram-lining on the motorway - the cause is usually a worn shock, a tired bush or a top mount past its best. We carry common shocks, springs and ARB links so most jobs are same-visit.
For HGVs and bigger vans we work to commercial vehicle standards - calliper rebuilds, brake-line work, air-brake checks where relevant. Tell us the vehicle on the phone and we’ll bring the right kit.

Judder through the pedal
Warped discs or worn pads. We measure, machine where possible, replace where not.

Soft / spongy pedal
Air in the lines, leaking caliper, or a knackered master cylinder. Don’t drive on a soft pedal.

Pulling under braking
Sticky caliper, contaminated pads, or an uneven pad on one side. We diagnose and rebuild.

Knock over bumps
Top mount, drop link or worn bush. We pin it down and fix it the same trip in most cases.

Uneven tyre wear
Often a suspension geometry issue. Worth catching before you wear out a £200 tyre.
